How to get rid of Mealybugs - Plumeria Plant
If the mealybugs just started to infect your Plumeria plant then apply alcohol spray to the infected areas and nearby areas.
You can also use a cotton ball with alcohol to wipe off the mealybugs and white spots.
Wait for 3 days, to see if the mealybugs attacks again. If you notice mealybugs again then follow the below:
Treat with need oil, I use a hose-attached sprayer. You'll have to do more than one application, again use according to directions.
Also, spray the surrounding ground as well as surrounding plants, mealybug spreads. Ants will carry the pest throughout the garden. Ants are attracted to the sweet smell that they secret. Then the mealybug is carried off on the ant's little feet & through your gardens.
Another way is:
Dawn dish soap makes them melt right off then rinse with a hose. Mix 2 tbsp soap to 1 gal water and you can add 1 tsp neem oil to it so it sticks.
