If you are seeing some of the leaves of your arrowhead plant turning pale green or white, this is not a watering issue. I am repeating again, it's not about how much water you are giving to your plant.
In this article, I will talk about why the arrowhead plant turns pale or white, and how to cure it.
Note: I know there are some variegated arrowhead plants with white patterns in the leaves. This post is not about those varieties.
A healthy arrowhead plant's leaves should look green.
This white or pale leaf issue is reported by a lot of plant growers. If you know the perfect growing conditions of arrowhead plants and maintain the environment, you will overcome the issue.
I don't believe it until I test it myself.
I have tried to grow two different arrowhead plants at the same time, but placed them in different locations.
Here is the result:

Too much bright sunlight may wash out the variegation, and this is how the leaves look pale.
Note: Not only direct sunlight, but for some varieties, too much bright sunlight may also cause this.
It is not necessary that your arrowhead plant variety will perform the best just like mine. If your plant is turning pale and the plant is not getting enough light, place it near a window.
Observe for a couple of days or weeks. If you see any improvement, do not change the position.
As per my experience, an arrowhead plant loves to stay in shade, where it can get indirect light. (Just like a lucky bamboo)
Have you just repotted your plant? This will give stress to your plant, and it also makes the arrowhead plant pale or white.
Another reason is the lack of nitrogen in the soil. Feed nitrogen-based fertilizer, and you may see improvement in a few days. (Do this only if the above tips don't work on your plant.)
After repotting or propagating a new arrowhead plant, this is normal to see:

Do not panic. Just wait for it to recover on its own.
